Shailene Woodley’s hectic schedule may mean she can’t star in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie

Fifty Shades of Grey movie my have just lost another rumoured cast member in Shailene Woodley who could soon be joining the ranks of Emma Watson and Mila Kunis who recently confirmed they would not be starring in the on-screen adaptation.

Neither Fifty Shades of Grey movie producers or Shailene have confirmed the news but it appears her filming schedule may have put her out of the running to play Anastasia Steele despite her name making regular appearances on fan wish lists.

The talented actress, who wowed critics in The Descendants starring opposite George Clooney, has recently won roles in several big budget movies including The Amazing Spider Man 2, The Spectacular Now and Divergent.

The latter of the three is based on a novel set in a dystopian world and has the potential to be spun into several sequels according to the Examiner. If this happens Shailene would be signed up to star in every movie and unable to commit to the three Fifty Shades of Grey movies.

Although if E.L.James decide she’s the perfect Anastasia we’re sure they’ll find a way round it…
