Dannii admits she's not friends with Cheryl

Dannii speaks out over their professional relationship - and admits it's not all its cracked up to be

So it seems Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole aren't best friends after all.

When Cheryl joined X Factor last year, the rumour mill went into overdrive, with speculations of behind-the-scenes bust-ups with fellow judge, Dannii.

Dannii was reported to be unhappy over the amount of airtime Cheryl was receiving, and at one point was on the verge of quitting the show.

But despite previous problems, it looked there might be a U-turn this series.

Dannii was said to be happier after receiving a pay rise from bosses to match Cheryl's £1 million, and just two months ago, she dismissed reports of rivalry, claiming, 'We're having fun'.

Now, however, it looks like their relationship is strictly professional.

Dannii has admitted in an interview with OK! magazine that she and Cheryl are not close friends, and would never talk about personal issues, 'just girlie stuff, like clothes and boys and men.'

Dannii added, 'There's a lot written about her personal life, which I would never ask her about. It's her business.'
