Catherine Zeta-Jones may have won an Oscar for her starring role in Chicago, but winning an award hasn’t spurred her on to take more leading lady roles. Instead she’s happy taking parts that interest her, and focusing on her family.

As she promotes her latest film, Broken City, the actress told us she’s in a perfect place right now saying: ‘I’m happy doing roles that are fun and interesting and working with great people, that’s what I want to do.
‘And you know, the other thing is, I’m really happy with my life, with my kids and my husband. I have a life and some of my contemporaries don’t.’

Following her husband Michael Douglas’ battle with cancer Catherine’s only concern is that her family are healthy and happy too, and she reassured us things are going really well.

She added: ‘Michael is in the best of health. He is going to be playing Ronald Regan and Liberace just think about that – Ronald Regan and Liberace. That’s amazing. And the kids are great but they are growing up way too fast for me but they are doing great.’
After a rocky time for Catherine and Michael of late, it’s brilliant to hear things are going so well.
