Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is hoping secure the rights to make a film about the Chilean miners trapped underground for 69 days, according to reports.

The star’s production company, Plan B is thought to have put in a whopping 'multi-million-dollar' offer, in a bid to secure movie rights to the special story.
The company 'has expressed potential interest in the story,' company representative, Jon Liebman, CEO of Brillstein Entertainment Partners, told US magaznine People.
'Like so many people worldwide, Plan B has been incredibly moved by the story of the Chilean miners and their families.'
And it’s thought some of the miners could even be offered small parts in the flick.

But Brad's facing stiff compeition. Lawyer Edgardo Reinoso who is representing the 33 men is reportedly receiving around ten offers a day – all from companies desperate to get their hands on the miners’ tale.
It’s thought the men are in the process of setting up a holding company to equally share out profits made from publicity, and will be considering all movie deals once this is done.
