After winning the Wimbledon title last year, there was only one more ‘will he/won’t he’ question left to answer. And today the rumours have officially been laid to rest as it was confirmed that Andy Murray and Kim Sears are engaged (finally).
The couple of nine years have long fought off questions about heir relationship status, which last year reached fever pitch as Andy jokingly tweeted about marrying Kim after the won the Wimbledon title, oops.
Andy’s long-term girlfriend and full-time perfectly coiffed cheerleader was just 17 years old and studying A-levels when she met the up-and-coming tennis player at the US Open in 2005.
Since meeting, Kim has been a regular courtside fixture, wowing us in many a designer outfit and offering a never-ending supply of glossy hair inspo.
Rarely seen without her Mulberry totes, Kim has also impressed in several Victoria Beckham dresses and has even sat front row at several Burberry Prorsum shows.
So all that’s really left to do is it to contemplate on that all-important wedding gown designer. Start placing those bets ladies...
