Amy Winehouse's dad confirms the singer is still bulimic

AMY WINEHOUSE'S DAD appeared on ITV's This Morning yesterday, and revealed that his daughter is still suffering from bulimia. Mitch Winehouse agreed to be interviewed by Fern and Phil in order to put the record straight regarding Amy's recent problems, and discussed his attempts to help his troubled daughter.

Speaking of his daughter's eating disorder, Mitch explained that Amy was still not cured, though she has started to improve. He commented, 'The other problem is the bulimia which is still apparent, although she's put on about a stone in weight but it's still affecting her health and there are problems with substance abuse as well.'

Regarding Amy's rumoured drug problems, Mitch placed the blame with her husband Blake, claiming that his daughter was anti-hard drugs until she met her future spouse. He added that Amy's rumoured overdose in May was in fact a seizure caused by using drugs, and added that this was, in fact, more dangerous.

He finished by discussing how Amy may be cured, and admitted that though he did tell her not to go to rehab, as her celebrated song states, he has now changed his mind.
