One Day We Will All Look Like Beyoncé, Says Tyra Banks

America’s Next Top Model Tyra Banks shares her predictions for the future of beauty
Picked up your new iris colour at the drive-thru yet? Got your over-the-counter plastic surgery fix, or your hyper-speed hair growth serums? Then you’ll be pleased to hear you’re still in the running to become America’s Next Top Robot.
But these aren’t fantasy ideas taken from The Hunger Games’s Capitol city. They’re some of modelling show mogul Tyra Banks’s very real predictions for the future of beauty.
'Plastic surgery will be as easy and quick as going to the drugstore for Tylenol,' Tyra writes in the Wall Street Journal.
‘Since beauty will be easily attainable, models will be as relevant as a horse and buggy. Robot/avatar models with features that look totally different from the golden-skinned everyday people will represent and sell products world-wide.’ Bad news for her TV empire, then.
Tyra goes on to predict that curvy figures will be the most desirable, as only the super-rich will be able to afford natural food after climate change kicks up a gear and destroys the world’s crops.
And she has a thing or two to say about the kick-ass women of the future, too. ‘Women's empowerment will be an irrelevant concept because the balance of power between the sexes will have shifted dramatically. Women, in control of when they can have children (up to age 120!), and having more degrees and education than men, will be in charge.’ Now that we can totally see happening.

In the cookie-cutter-pretty new world, uniqueness will be valued, says Tyra, before predicting that the mainstream trend will be to look like Beyoncé… or her.
‘Skin color and features will mesh into a similar shade for the majority of people. Typical features and coloring will lean toward a Rihanna or Beyoncé or me kind of look. People with alabaster or ebony skin will be rare and heralded for that uniqueness.’
