Meghan Markle included a special nod to Diana when she launched her fashion line
Yesterday Meghan Markle launched the Smart Set, her charity capsule collection that helps empower women (you can shop it here). And whilst the clothing included a little nod to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, the Duchess also gave a special nod to Princess Diana.
Meghan has often worn pieces of jewellery that belong to Prince Harry's late mother, and this momentous occasion was no exception.
Firstly, she opted for butterfly diamond earrings, which she has worn several times before, including during her tour of Australia last year. Princess Diana herself was pictured wearing them in Canada in 1986.
Meghan also stacked some bracelets on her wrist, one of which was a gold and sapphire bangle, which Diana was papped wearing in 1994.
This is actually not the first time the Duchess has worn both pieces together, as she wore them on her first public appearance after announcing her pregnancy with baby Archie.
So it's quite fitting that she wore the pieces again to mark her big launch, during which she vowed to support women in need feel more confident about themselves and their careers.
