When it comes to great street-style looks that stand the test of time, celebrities know how to do it best. Take Kate Moss' longtime love of butter-yellow dresses, or Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's Nineties minimalist looks that continue to inspire the fashion set—to name but a few.

Case in point: in 2022, the eldest Jenner sister was seen in New York City wearing a fitted midi denim dress by Sportmax—and though a whole three years have since gone by, it's a look I still take inspiration from time and time again.

Not only did Jenner's simple look provide a failsafe outfit formula and nail multiple timeless trends in one go, it also served as an important reminder of the power a denim dress can have in your wardrobe wardrobe.
Incidentally, denim dresses are having a major moment right now, and have become a cool girl go-to. Jenner's dark-wash, body-con, high-neck version—complete with flattering corsetry-style stitching—remains top of my wishlist still today.
