There are many duties that come with being a royal no matter your age, something three-year-old Princess Charlotte is already learning.
We all remember her adorable curtsey on last year's royal tour to Warsaw, and this year she has been perfecting her royal wave, showcasing it for us all at the birth of her younger brother, Prince Louis, and then later at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.
There are some duties however that are a little more strict, one being that she is not allowed to sit with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, at royal functions.
Yes, really.
According to Harper's Bazaar Australia, Princess Charlotte and Prince George are not allowed to sit at the same table as their parents or other adult family members during official royal visits.
Why? They have yet to learn 'the art of polite conversation.' And until they do, the royal children are confined to the kids' table.

But when he's old enough we're sure he'll be joining his siblings on the children's table.
