Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are tying the knot today at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, with a host of A-list royal wedding guests already in the pews.
We’re talking Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and Victoria and David Beckham.
Updates have been coming through thick and fast, from the fact that Prince Charles will be walking Meghan down the aisle to speculation as to who will be the bride’s wedding dress designer.
The latest update to come through however surrounds the royal wedding rings. Who made them? Will they go with Meghan Markle’s engagement ring? And is there a sentimental meaning behind them?
The couple have just announced this morning that they have chosen to go with the company, Cleave and Company.
‘Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen Cleave and Company to make their Wedding rings,’ announced the royal family. ‘Ms. Markle's ring has been fashioned from a piece of Welsh Gold, gifted by Her Majesty The Queen.’
They continued: ‘Prince Harry's ring will be a Platinum Band with a textured finish. Both rings were crafted in the Cleave workshop. The rings will be carried to St George's Chapel on the day of the Wedding by The Duke of Cambridge, in his capacity as Best Man.’
Prince Harry is already breaking a royal tradition with his wedding ring, choosing to wear one, while his brother Prince William and grandfather Prince Philip both choose not to wear a band.
