Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement photographer just summed up their shoot in one word
And it’s lovely.

And it’s lovely.
Announcing their engagement last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to wed next month on May 19th at St. George’s Chapel, in Windsor castle.
With just over a month to go until the big day, there’s plenty of wedding prep for the royal family and its guests, from finding the perfect Philip Treacy-style fascinator to buying the newlyweds a fitting wedding present.
But while most people are spending this month looking to the couple’s future, some are choosing to reminisce about the couple’s past, with their official engagement photographer, Alexi Lubomirski, opening up about what it was like on the set of their iconic shoot, the photos of which were released in late December.
Summing up the experience simply, he explained, ‘It was nutty - it was a very surreal end to the year because it came out of nowhere’.
He continued: ‘I think one of Megan’s friends saw on Instagram that I was in England during the announcement of the engagement and I was told later that this person said to her, “You should meet Alexi. He’s great, you’d love him” and that was it.’
Going on to explain the shoot, he stated: ‘It was one of the easiest, most joyful jobs because they were so deliciously in love,’ with the photographer even going on to recall that all he had to do was to tell the couple to be themselves.

The public unsurprisingly loved the official photos, and it looks like the royal couple did too, with Alexi and his wife set to attend the royal wedding next month.
