Why was Meghan Markle's Instagram account reactivated?
Best news EVER.

Best news EVER.
When Meghan Markle became Duchess of Sussex, she had to let go of a lot of aspects from her old life - her acting career, her country and a lot of her freedom, now having to adhere to a strict set of royal rules.
The biggest blow to the public however (die hard Suits fans aside) was her having to give up her blog, The Tig, and her social media channels, something that goes against royal tradition.
Meghan's Instagram page used to be a go-to source of interiors and career inspiration, with the 37-year-old sharing everything from behind the scenes Hollywood shots and candid selfies to dog photos and seasonal recipes - raking in an impressive following of three million.
To say we miss it would be a huge understatement.
The world breathed a huge sigh of relief therefore when the Duchess of Sussex's Instagram account was reactivated this week, having been deactivated over a year ago.
While a few more recent photographs of Meghan were missing, most of her old posts reappeared, giving followers a refresher of Meghan's social media talents.

But while excitement spread that the Duchess could be following in Princess Eugenie's footsteps, becoming a millennial Instagram princess, the account was soon deactivated again, with insiders describing the issue as a 'system glitch'.
'For those of you asking, Duchess Meghan is not making a return to Instagram,' explained Omid Scobie. 'You can blame a system glitch for her account resurfacing on the app this morning.'
Well, that's a shame.
