It has been reported that Meghan - ever the LA girl - is planning on hiring a doula to help with the birth and the months that follow.
Doulas are non medically trained guides recruited as birth companions and coaches, offering emotional and practical support throughout labour and after.
Being doula to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is undoubtedly a highly coveted position, so who has got it? According to the speculation on the Doula UK members website, the job may have gone to Lauren Mischon, who when asked if the rumours were true on the message board, replied with the message: ‘I’m busy in Spring. I could not possibly say.’
