This is too much.
The Duchess of Cambridge returned to her royal duties this week as her six month maternity leave came to an end.
Yesterday marked her first royal engagement since giving birth to Prince Louis, with the Kensington Royal social media accounts posting about her visit to the SC Trust Forest school and Wildlife Garden at Paddington Recreation Ground.
While attending the official engagement yesterday, Kate proved that she's still as much of a Duchess in person as she is in name, as she was caught sharing a very sweet moment with a young girl.
'Why are they picturing you?' the young Forest School student can be seen asking the Duchess of Cambridge in footage from the event, to which Kate responded, 'They’re picturing you because you’re special!' before taking her by the hand.
‘Storytime with St Stephen's School as The Duchess of Cambridge joins the children to listen to the Monkey Queen,’ captioned a series of stunning photos of the Duchess wearing the iconic boots that she has had for years. ‘Today The Duchess of Cambridge saw the positive impact Sayers Croft Trust's activities have on children's emotional and physical wellbeing.’
Kensington Royal then uploaded a video of the Duchess at her first engagement. ’Making leaf crowns with St Stephen’s School,’ the video was captioned. ‘The Duchess of Cambridge sees an example of the positive impact Sayers Croft Trust's activities have on children's emotional and physical wellbeing.’

‘The Duchess of Cambridge joins St Augustine’s Primary School for a spot of gardening,’ read the final caption. ‘One of many activities organised by Sayers Croft Trust to give inner city children a unique opportunity to learn about and engage with the natural world.’
