Harry Styles shows his support for the LGBTQ+ community on his tour
And we’re here for it

And we’re here for it

Harry Styles kicked off his solo world tour at San Francisco’s Masonic concert venue on Tuesday and people can’t stop talking about it.
Spoiler alert: He opened the show with fan-favourite ‘Ever Since New York’ and closed with ‘Sign of the Times,’ two favourites off his self-titled debut album. Unsurprisingly, he played with fashion in floral wide-leg pants and a silky white top as he wielded his guitar on stage and, again unsurprisingly, made girls cry from one side of the room to the next.
But most importantly, Styles made sure to send a political message, too. He waved around a pride flag throughout his show, tying it around his microphone and later waving it high in the air.
In May, the former One Direction singer opened up about his sexuality, essentially admitting that placing a label on it isn’t so important to him. ‘Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive. People doing stuff like that is great,’ he said in reference to Miley Cyrus identifying as pansexual.
‘It’s weird for me — everyone should be just who they want to be. It’s tough to justify somebody having to answer to someone else about stuff like that.’
