Gwyneth Paltrow has finally opened up about her ‘secret wedding’
And it’s lovely.
And it’s lovely.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuck surprised everyone last week, when reports emerged that the couple wed in a secret ceremony in LA.
Following her A-list hen party in Mexico this month, the couple hired the Los Angeles Theatre for the night and held a black tie party – supposedly an engagement bash before their Hamptons wedding later this year.
However, as guests entered the Los Angeles Theatre, reports emerged that the ‘engagement party’ was actually a secret wedding – especially after Gwyn’s celeb mum Blythe Danner was spotted entering the venue with a Monique Lhuillier bridal dress bag.
’Thank you @mrrpmurphy for the most incredible evening to celebrate our [love]’, Gwyneth posted to her Instagram account. ‘There will never be adequate words to express our gratitude.’
The 45-year-old then went on thank the people that helped make her day so special, with a big thank you to Giambattista Valli for the gown, explaining, ‘I will never get over my gorgeous dress’.
She continued: ‘Thank you to all of our amazing true and dear friends who came to support us. We feel like the luckiest people on the planet because we have all of you in our lives. And most of all thank you @bradfalchuk for the true happiness.’

Gwyneth and Brad invited 400 of their closest friends to the engagement-turned-secret-wedding bash, and in terms of A-list attendees, it looks like they’ve even given Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a run for their money.
We’re talking everyone from Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Julia Roberts, to Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler.
While Gwyn and Brad have yet to confirm that their party was a secret wedding, we’re sure to hear an announcement soon.
