The couple will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary in September
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk’s living arrangements have been making headlines ever since the Goop founder told The Sunday Times that she and her husband only live together four nights a week, spending the other three nights in separate houses.
Addressing the topic in an interview with InStyle, the actress revealed that they are finally ready to move in together next month – after a year of marriage – and their reason for taking things slow is very sweet. Paltrow and Falchuck, who both have two kids from their previous marriage, wanted to give their children some time to get used to the situation.
‘Married life has been really good. We took a year to let everybody [in the family] take it in and let the dust settle. And now we’re moving in together this month,’ she said. ‘I adore my husband. He’s brilliant and deeply kind. I feel like he’s a real equal too. And he pushes me in the best ways. I really like being married. It’s fun.’
Falchuk confirmed the news in an interview with WSJ Magazine. ‘I'm moving in September,’ he disclosed. ‘We've just done it slowly. Divorce is terrible, even when it's the right thing to do. And it's really hard on kids. Come September we're all gonna 'Brady Bunch' it up, and it'll be great.’
In the same interview, the TV producer also opened up about what it’s like to be married to Paltrow. ‘Gwyneth has a very tough skin. She's like, “You've got to relax”’, he shared. ‘At the end of the day, we're getting into bed together... and nothing from the outside world or anybody's opinion means anything.’
Happy moving day, Gwyneth and Brad!
