Emily Blunt has opened up about her hardest scene to film
And we get it.
And we get it.
Emily Blunt is one of the most talked about women in world, making news this week as she won a SAG award for her supporting role in her husband’s directional debut, A Quiet Place.
Taking to the stage, the 35-year-old honoured John Krasinski, sharing her award with her husband, and joking about the divorce predictions that faced the couple when news broke of their joint project.
It was her opening up about filming however that really got the world talking, with Emily recently recalling the hardest scene she has had to shoot.
The moment in question? Her birth scene in A Quiet Place.
‘I will say, emotionally it was the most daunting to do the birth sequence because I knew it was going to be a beast,’ she explained in the SAG Awards press room about her win. ‘We would shoot it for 5 days straight, you know, giving birth, from the moment the water breaks till the moment I'm in the bathtub, which still makes my mother cry, she doesn't like watching that one.’
She continued: ‘So, I think that was the most daunting to shoot. I didn't necessarily find them as frightening as the audience did….more of an emotional task, you know?’
