‘I like all your photos and leave flames on some’

Emily Ratajkowski surprised us all in February, taking to Instagram to break the news that she had married her boyfriend of a few weeks, actor/ producer Sebastian Bear McClard.

The wedding, held at New York’s City Hall, went viral as she shared photos of the happy day – mostly because of her attire – with the 26-year-old opting to wear a mustard trouser suit from Zara and a black hat and veil, but also for the story behind it, with Sebastian actually proposing with a paperclip.

The wedding was an intimate occasion, with Emily explaining the low guest numbers during an interview on Live! with Kelly & Ryan. ‘I got married at City Hall,’ she explained. ‘It was a very special day. You always need one witness and I just couldn’t choose one person so we ended up bringing like four or five friends each, a couple dogs. We were quite a little crew.’

Chrissy Teigen however had something to say about the guest list, taking to Twitter to jokingly question why she hadn’t received an invite.

‘I’m oddly mad that I wasn’t invited to @emrata’s wedding even though we barely speak,’ Chrissy tweeted. ‘Like, I like all your photos and leave flames on some.’

‘ALSO, CONGRATS!!’, she added.

Emily’s response? ‘I was like, “Oh my god, she’s calling me out.” But you know, a lot of people weren’t there. I do [know her]. I don’t know that she would have been the first person in a 10-person wedding that I would have invited… but I get it. I totally get it. She’s like number 12.’
