It's a make-up sponge, guys
Beautyblenders are without doubt one of the most popular 'weapons of choice' a make-up lover can have in their beauty arsenal, up there with the likes of the silisponge and your favourite highlighting and how to contour kits.
The trend started when blogger Selena Faye tweeted the below, telling her followers to ask their boyfriends or male friends to identify a Beautyblender from a picture. And whilst a blown-up pink egg does look rather menacing, we're in no doubt as to what this object is. Some people however, were not so sure...
Some guys went for the (seemingly) simplest explanation.
Some tried to use logic to find out the use of the mysterious object. What would you use one of these for?
Then there were the answers which it definitely could NOT be.
One guy even tried to join in on the game – though, we're not sure he quite understood the rules.
While amusing, we're afraid none of these ideas quite make it onto our list of alternative uses for your Beautyblender.
Not all of the men asked were fooled though – which is a darn shame.
